The 10th Tibetan Terrier World Congress was hold in UK 3rd, 4th & 5th August 2007 at Moreton Hall Warwickshire. There was also a possibility to visit The Kennel Club, see the Angela Mulliner Art Exhibition, make a tour of The KC, including lunch. A big thanks to Steven Green and Heidi Lawrence who made this visit a fantastic experience.
To attend the hole program, Kirsi Wikström and I were spending almost a week in England.

Tiibetinterrieiden Maailmankongressi pidettiin tänä vuonna Englannissa upean Yrjön-aikaisen kartanon tiloilla Warwickshiressä. Saimme myös kutsun vierailla aidossa englantilaisessa klubissa eli The Kennel Club'in tiloissa, syöden hienon lounaan ja tutustuen kuuluisaan kirjastoon sekä Angela Mullinerin taidenäyttelyyn. Todella hienosti järjestetty visiitti meille kaukaa tulleille 'tiibettiläisille' .

Then we went with train to Moreton Hall and were warmly welcomed by the Congress Committee. In the evening there were a Welcome reception in the Hall with welcome drink and buffet and songs from around the globe by Coventry Male voice Choir conduced by Mrs Valerie Hocking. What a surprise! 
Illalla järjestettiin tervetuliaisjuhla päärakennuksessa. Tarjolla oli drinkit ja sormipurtavaa sekä upeaa laulua Ja tietysti runsaasti iloisia uudelleen tapaamisia.

Prof Dr Martin S.Fisher from Germany showing his reseach: Locomotion of dogs, using infrared reflecting systems. 

Saksalainen tutkija Martin S. Fisher piti esitelmän koiran liikkeistä. Hän on infrapunaisten valojen avulla kuvannut eri koirien (ja muiden nisäkkäiden) liikeratoja ja tullut siihen tulokseen että ainoastaan ihmisillä on oikea olkavarsi. Muilla liike lähtee lapaluun kiinnityskohdasta.

After a very impressing lunch we had the apportunite to hear Prof Peter Bedford speeking about the eye deseases PRA, LL, HC and Canine Ceroid Lipofucinosis.
Then Dr Cathryn Mellersh gave us a rapport of  the LinsLuxation research.
In the evening Primoz Peer (SLO) and Margareta Sundqvist (S)  made a presentation with photos from their trip to Eastern Tibet in September 2006.

Todellakin juhlavan lounaan jälkeen siirryimme kuuntelemaan Prof Peter Bredfordin luentoa silmäsairauksista. Siinä hän totesi, että hän jo vuoden 1993 TT Congressin yhteydessä ennusti CCL taudin leviävän tiibetinterriereissä.

The two last days were Showdays. The first was the TTA Ch Show in the walled garden with 184 TT's. At the same time there was also hold a Agilty Show with 150 dogs and an Obedience show with 60 dogs.The showresults can be seen at the TTA and TTBOC homepages.

Lopuksi 2 näyttelypäivää, eli molemmilla yhdistyksillä oma. Samanaikaisesti pidettin myös Agilty ja Toko näyttelyt ja kaikkiin riitti runsaasti koiria. Kaikkea ei voinnut nähdä samanaikaisesti ja koska oma kamera meni tässä vaiheessa rikki, kuvia on vain muutama eli lähinnä Tseman Isadoran jälkeläisistä.

The last day, Sunday we didn't see the Show as we started our flight home to Finland. With us we had the handsome black male Kirsi got from Margaret Cooper Todd, Silveridge Toy Major.

Sunnuntai näyttely jäi meiltä näkemättä, koska silloin olimme jo matkalla kotiin. Mukana komea musta tibbeherra Silveridge Toy Major, jonka Kirsi oli saannut ostaa Margaret Cooper Tedd'ltä.
